	Black Mount. Highlands. 11th October 2006 I have said before how certain locations act like magnets to photographers and this is one of those places. I had already decided that it would be my twilight shot for the day because if there was going to be any light as the Sun went down this would be one of the few spots inland that I would see it. Lochan na h-Achlaise combines a magnificent vista with water to reflect the sunset so seemed the ideal spot. This particular evening the Eastern shore had sprouted a forest of tripods around which about twenty photographers busied themselves under the watchful eyes of Joe Cornish, their tutor for the day. It turned out that one of the popular landscape photography schools had set this as part of their itinerary for the day. It would be fascinating to see what different results all these photographers achieved from the same location and lighting but in the end the shot I most liked from my own batch was this one.
