Botallack Head. Cornwall.

The engine houses of the tin mines at Botallack Head seem like they must have been built with photographers in mind.

Of course the reality is that they serviced the shafts and levels that extended far out under the sea bed so needed to be as close to the shoreline as possible.

The main challenge at this location is finding a good and safe viewpoint. In this case I chose an outcrop overlooking the sea to highlight their precarious situation
